Usually less than a week. Several clinics run weekly in Harrogate and Leeds.
Following a diagnosis, for urgent problems such as sports injuries, surgery can often be offered within two weeks – sometimes sooner.
Yes, a surgery date can be arranged to suit you.
Unless you have a complex medical history or have had previous relevant treatment/surgery, if you are self-funding then a referral is not required. If you have health insurance, your insurer may require a referral to allow authorisation.
Yes, you have no obligation to pursue private treatment and can return to the NHS at any time, though generally, your GP will need to refer you.
Please note: If you have had a private consultation/diagnosis and would like treatment via the NHS, you will restart your care pathway. Previous private consultation or treatment offers no priority on return to the NHS.
Yes. The referral can be made by either your GP or another clinician prior to your appointment, or a request can be put in during your initial consultation. Please contact us if you need advice.
A. Up to 30 minutes are allocated for new appointments, however, your consultation will generally last as long as you need.
